Lying in the west of Switzerland, with the surface area of around 220km square, Lac de Neuchatel is the largest lake in Switzerland.
I remember this lake very well. As 4 years ago, when I came to Switzerland for the first time, Ursina had told me their family used to spend the summer in the lake area, sailing and swimming.
As a 'tourist' in Switzerland, I was super lucky to spend two days with Ursina and Fabrizio on their 'new' sailing boat on Lac de Neuchatel. It was my first experience of sailing, though the wind was so weak that we needed to used the engine sometimes, with the different colour of the lake, the sunset, the tranquility, it was such a beautiful memory.
The parking area was totally packed.
Ready? I was so excited for my first time sailing.
Yo, we were sailing!
Another sailboat.
A relaxing moment on the boat.
The swams here are just like dogs, but on the lake, because they are always looking for food from us.
Lac de Neuchatel is just like a woman in her prime age. It demonstrates her beauty during diffenent time of the day, it is just so fanscating.
In the morning, the lake is light blue.
It can also have different layers of colours.
In the middle of the day, Neuchatel is so green.
While in the late afternoon, it is deep blue.
Sunset time, totally golden.
It changes to icy blue when the sun has gone.
